And now a rant about politics and politicians...

Ok, so we all know that all these reforms might not work, right? Or maybe they will, I don't know. However, the healthcare stuff is affecting people who take certain medicines. I've been taking medicine for ADD for 4 years now. And what I was taking worked great. But due to the healthcare stuff, the insurance company won't pay for it. As a result, I had to change my brand of medication. We say that we need people who know what they're doing on capital hill. We say that their need to be doctors or other professionals who are experts in their field in congress. However, to get to those seats in the big house, you have to climb the ladder of politics. Which brings us to my opinion, as soon as someone begins to climb that ladder of politics, they are no longer what they were before. Now this seems a bit harsh, but think about it. Politics is a world of not straight answers and twisting of the words to make your point seem better. So as soon as a medical professional steps into this world of politics hoping to actually make a good change in the government, any trace of what they did disappears because when they finally reach their goal, they will just be another politician screwing things up.
